About Skirt Strategies

Our Mission:

To change the course of the nation by helping women develop and fully utilize their natural feminine leadership characteristics.

Skirt Strategies
is an online platform to deliver feminine leadership support through several methods.

Our style?  Well, we want to be a little funky and fun. All our leadership messages are delivered in a light-hearted and humorous way ... After all - women's leadership is often seen as non-traditional. Let's take advantage of that.

Our approach?  We give women several ways of jumping in, or like an inviting hot tub, just slide in when you can. We offer a completely free area at Skirt Strategies where you will see weekly leadership tips, some regular video instruction, blog discussions about stuff you deal with as a woman at work, and a home base for joining an occasional webinar or training.

More serious about your self-development? Then take a look at Skirt Design for regular accountability and productivity focus.
Sweeet!

We also have our soon-to-be-famousSkirt Studies which comes with the Skirt Design membership, or take it as a stand-alone course for priming those skills.  Come join us!

See Membership Benefits for a complete description of your options.

Why us? We have been in the thick of it and have witnessed the struggles women face. (And frankly, we are more fun to learn with than your average bear.) We think women are sometimes in a more naturally advantageous position, but seems we sometimes don't sit at the table to leverage that. We opt-out or deal with mental barriers. One of the reasons Katie and Carol are so passionate about our work is that we want our seven daughters to have an easier time finding their passion and abilities using feminine leadership qualities.

"Often in my work, I hear people say that the lack of women in leadership is an issue that pales next to world crises – global terrorism, fragile economics, inadequate healthcare, access to quality education, corporate greed. They see no connection between the frightening situations we’re in and the fact that few women sit at the table to determine the solutions. No wonder we’re where we are today. This fundamental imbalance, with men running the world and women mostly spectators (or victims), is not a trivial detail. It is the problem. It is also the one solution we have NOT tried and the one most likely to work.”
